Corrections policy
We fix mistakes in the open
calculadoras that are wrong are worse than no calculadoras at all. If we publish a number, a formula or a statement that turns out to be incorrect, we correct it promptly, clearly label what changed, and keep the old information visible so readers can see the history.
What we treat as a correction
- A factual error in text (rate, threshold, formula, date, name).
- A bug in a calculadora that produces the wrong answer for any input.
- A source citation that is broken, outdated or attributed to the wrong publisher.
- A statement that, while not technically wrong, is materially misleading.
How corrections are made
Each correction updates the page's "Last updated" date and appends an entry to an internal changelog. Significant corrections — those that would change a user's decision (e.g. the wrong tax band, an incorrect NHS threshold) — are flagged at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
A dated changelog is available on request by email to the editorial desk.
How to flag an error
Send the URL, a short description and your source if possible to **corrections@calculadora.co.uk** or use the contact form. We aim to respond within 2 working days and to implement a correction within 5 working days of verification. Urgent fiscal or medical errors are prioritised within 24 hours.
