Who we are

Calculadora.co.uk ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We're based in the United Kingdom and operate under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our registered contact is hello@calculadora.co.uk.

What we collect

The short answer: as little as possible. Most calculadoras run entirely in your browser — the numbers you type never reach our servers.

Analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage data (page views, country, device type) via a privacy-respecting analytics provider. No personally identifying information is collected.
Contact messages — the name, email and message you submit through the contact form, retained only as long as necessary to answer you.
Error reports — minimal, non-identifying diagnostic data if the site crashes, used to fix bugs.
Cookies — strictly necessary cookies always run; any optional cookie (analytics, marketing) is loaded only after your consent.

Lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests (running and improving the site) for strictly necessary processing and consent for any non-essential cookies or marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner or your browser settings.

Access — ask for a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to our legitimate retention obligations).
Portability — receive your data in a common, machine-readable format.
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Complaint — to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you think we've got it wrong.

Retention

Contact form submissions: up to 12 months after the last response. Analytics data: aggregated and retained for 14 months. Error logs: 30 days.

Third parties

We use a small number of carefully chosen providers to operate the site. They act as processors, bound by written contracts under UK GDPR. Current providers include: Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (CDN & DDoS), Plausible or similar privacy-first analytics, and transactional email services. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, ever.

Children

Our calculadoras are suitable for students aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us to have it removed.

Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when. Material changes will be announced in a site notice.
