About the author

What I cover

I write and review everything on Calculadora.co.uk that touches your pay packet, your mortgage or your tax return. That includes take-home salary (PAYE), Income Tax, National Insurance, Student Loan repayments, Stamp Duty, mortgage repayments, pensions and household finance calculadoras.

My goal is always the same: make a number you can trust, and explain the rule behind it in plain English.

How I work

I cross-check every UK figure against the current GOV.UK, HMRC or Bank of England source before a page goes live, and again after each Spring and Autumn Statement. When rates change mid-year I re-check within 24 hours.

I don't accept paid placements, sponsored conclusions or free trips from financial-services firms. My editor and the corrections desk can see every draft.
